The magazine launched in mid-2006 and ran successfully for three years, building a strong reputation for delivering independent news and data on the South African/African space, and successfully hosting the annual AfricaHedge awards and conference.
Gwyneth joined HedgeFund Intelligence in 2005, working previously as the deputy editor of AsiaHedge, based in Hong Kong. Prior to that, she spent seven years at the South China Morning Post, most recently as editor of the paper’s weekly investment section Sunday Money.
She has a BA in English, Fine Arts (Rhodes University, South Africa, 1993) and a post-graduate diploma in journalism (Rhodes University 1994).
